The FCA Ottawa Ferrari Festival takes place on Preston Street, also known as Corso Italia - the heart of Ottawa's Little Italy. This area, which is home to traditional-fare restaurants and other businesses, is only a 5 minute walk from the famed Rideau Canal. Corso Italia is famous for its rich heritage and the popular 10-day long Italian Week, which has been held for the last 30 years. Italian Week festivities will culminate with the FCA Ottawa Ferrari Festival, as tifosi from the different regions of Ottawa-Gatineau gather to view the different models of Ferrari.
The Preston Street Business Improvement Association (BIA), a major sponsor of the festival, represents the interests of over 100 businesses in the area. For more information on Preston Street, please visit their website www.prestonstreet.com.
The FCA Ottawa chapter is celebrating the Italian culture in general and Ferrari in particular and to call attention to our main goal ~ simply stated ~ to raise money for the Villa Marconi Long Term Health Care Centre. This remains the single most important symbol of the Italian Community's effort to provide peace of mind and good care for the seniors of Ottawa.
